Day After Christmas & Two Frozen Quilts

Seanna's Frozen Quilt

It’s the day after Christmas 2014 for the Strange house, we had a wonderful Christmas day opening up presents, spending time as a family, and most important of all…celebrating Jesus’s birthday.

How was your day?

On to the Frozen Quilts…

Seanna's Frozen Quilt

Which little girl wouldn’t love to get an Elsa & Anna Frozen quilt for Christmas?

I’ve been working, not one but TWO Frozen quilts for both of my girls. Janis Felsted was so sweet to give me the snowflake adaptation block that she created with her EQ7 quilting software.

Check out the snowflake adaptation block below…it came out to a 8 1/2” finished block. I used 2.5” half-square triangles and 4 − 2 1/2” solid squares for the corners.

Here is the other Frozen quilt that I did for my girl and of course they loved them both. I used pink chenille for the backing of the quilt to make it soft and cuddly.

I hand guided my Gammill Premier-Plus using the Swirly Snowflake pantograph by Beany Girl Quilts in Silver Omni Threads color.
