AJ’s Super Hero Quilt
My little 4 year old boy just loves the Avengers and has their toys. I decided since I made the girls Frozen quilts that he can have his own Avengers/Super Hero Quilt.
I used my Christmas present from my hubby, the EQ7, to use one of their patterns called the Irregular Grid 16 to make his quilt. After I assembled the quilt top. I wasn’t thrilled with the outcome…the blocks just ran into each other. Hubby said that I should have used black instead of the red blocks so that they would show more, but little man LOVES the color red.
I thought he would love blue, but our second daughter loves that color and he wanted a color of his own.
I found my Clover quick bias black fusible tape and used that to outline the blocks and NOW I’m THRILLED with how the quilt came out. Doesn’t it look so much better?

I backed the quilt with brown chenille fabric and hand-guided my Gammill Premier-Plus to custom quilt the quilt. I wrote out words in between the loops. I used red Omni Superior Threads for the front and back of the quilt.
