How To Organize Your Scraps
We all have scraps, right? But what to do with them is what most of us ask ourselves. For the longest of time, I just threw them away. GASP!
Come on, really, THEY WERE CALLED SCRAPS FOR A REASON, right?
Long ago, I had cut my scraps into 2.5” squares and 4” squares, back then that’s the ones that I used the most and I had put them in ziploc baggies and there they sat…see picture below.
Now, I put my scraps into a trash bin and when that gets full I start to cut them into 2.5” and 3” strips, and 2.5”, 5”, and 6 1/2” squares. These are the sizes I use the most now and I put these strips or squares into bins of their own. These make amazing scrappy quilts.
